About us
RealSeq develops groundbreaking RNA fragmentomics technology to allow real-time detection of disease dramatically improving diagnosis and treatment. RiboMarkers are next generation cell free (cf)RNA fragmentomics-based diagnostics that are dynamic reporters able to predict dissemination of disease. We are developing and commercializing a liquid biopsy platform for debilitating fungal pathogens such as Valley Fever that are currently poorly managed yet rapidly increasing due to factors such as climate change with global implications. Our core expertise includes innovative proprietary technologies for bias-free small RNA/miRNA NGS library construction, targeted NGS tools, and cf-RNA analysis (liquid biopsy).

🌟 Research Publication Alert! 🌟 A new study published in Experimental & Molecular Medicine offers groundbreaking insights into the translation dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 in lung tissues during severe COVID-19. This pioneering research utilized advanced tissue-optimized ribosome profiling (Ribo-seq) and RealSeq ®-AC to map out the complex interactions between the virus and host cell machinery at a molecular level, providing a detailed temporal analysis of gene translation. The study, "Temporal Translation Profiles of SARS-CoV-2 and Host Genes in Infected Lung Tissue," reveals significant findings about how SARS-CoV-2 disrupts normal cellular functions, leading to severe pathogenic effects. Key observations include: ⚫ The identification of novel pseudoribosomal RNP interactions that suggest a mechanism by which the virus may impede the normal translation elongation process within the host cells. ⚫ Documentation of ribosome stalling on specific codons and compromised translation of essential genes related to immunity and metabolism, despite their increased transcription. This disruption could be a critical factor contributing to disease severity. These insights are crucial for understanding the molecular basis of SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis and can potentially inform the development of targeted therapies to mitigate the impact of the virus. For a deeper dive into these transformative findings, read the full article in Experimental & Molecular Medicine : https://lnkd.in/gnxCyr2S #ViralPathogenesis #SARSCoV2 #NatureBiology #Genomics #COVID19Research #ScientificDiscovery #HealthcareInnovation
