Employers - Interested in supporting mental health in the workplace? You can do so with one simple move: whole-person health support from our mental health first aid-certified professionals. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness, such as depression, anxiety, or substance use. These conditions can cause significant distress to individuals and their families. In addition, mental health symptoms can have negative effects on job performance and safety. Employers can help reverse this trend. Find out how. https://hubs.ly/Q02vB0TY0 #TakeAMentalHealthMoment #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #Mindfulness #MentalHealthMatters #Wellbeing #Wholepersonhealth

Wow! Two of the greats in the same room at The Health and Well-Being Coaching Conference this past weekend! They have offered us teachings and approaches that enable health coaches to be impactful agents of health behavior change. A once in a lifetime opportunity! #corporatewellbeing #healthcoaching #boardcertified #nbhwc #thecoachingconference #behaviorchange #chronicdiseaseprevention
Had the wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know Bill Miller who was awarded the second Lifetime Achievement Award at the Health and Wellbeing The Health and Well-Being Coaching Conference this last weekend. Bill is the embodiment of the M.I. (Motivational Interviewing) Spirit...and I would have to say, the spirit of Carl Rogers himself. Kind, compassionate and as down-to-earth as it gets. SO glad Deb and I got to spent time with him and his wife Kathy Jackson.
