📷 by @kellilamb_: In our primary bathroom, patrickm.design of beaugeste.design created a more ‘avant-garde’ look—it’s such a different vibe from the “Sea Ranch” bathroom but just as relaxing. For the floor, inspiration came from a wide range of mosaic tile floors—old, new, Italian, Spanish—ultimately landing on a one-of-a-kind pattern with wide grout lines crafted from annsacks Kannon Field Tile in two colorways, Canela Twist and Platino. (The wall tile is a mix of their Savoy Field Tile in Linen.) The sink is from duravit_us. A fun fact: first fell in love with the duravit Luv Series sink while staying at Sonoma’s MacArthur Place Hotel, and knew I wanted it in my own home one day. For added drama, we chose brizofaucet’s Levoir plumbing fixtures in Black Onyx. It’s a little rock ‘n’ roll with that gorgeous Calacatta Vintage marble, which has a shelf that goes right into the shower. Speaking of the shower, it actually hides the coolest feature ever…Brizo’s Mystix Elemental Experience, which turns the shower into a steam shower at the touch of a button. (!!!) Our GC meneses.construction discovered room for that bench during demo and it was such a pleasant surprise—we’d just planned to bring in a teak bench but the niche is a great addition. The light fixtures are @pureedgelighting, sourced from lightology, the wall-mounted Philippe Starck-designed toilet is by Duravit and we added a SensoWash Slim shower toilet seat, so the bathroom really has everything. Swipe for the before—the space was in okay shape and had received a few cosmetic upgrades (like the vanity and vinyl flooring), but bathing was not enjoyable.
