The Rockin' The Rooftop event on June 5th was a fantastic networking opportunity! It was great to come together and support the K-14 State Bond on the November ballot. Great connections made for an even greater cause! Also great speakers! One of them said the world consists of finders, minders and grinders which mean: The Finder is constantly engaged in new business acquisition—drumming up new business and leads. The detail-oriented, task-driven Grinder gets things done, day in and day out. The Minder is great at building and nurturing relationships, oversees the team, and manages processes. We need our college facilities to have programs that would help the grinders. Example this person said the future is AI, yes it’s going to change the world aka the minders but you need grinders to build this new technology and infrastructures. And it’s 100% true. Visions are great but you need people to do the day to day to live it out and build it!
