How to analyze and explore data stored in Snowflake using R ❄️ In this tutorial, James Blair, Sr. Product Manager of Cloud Integrations at Posit, shares how to: 1️⃣ Set up an R environment inside of Posit Workbench running as a native app on Snowpark Container Services. 2️⃣ Use the RDB player interface to push computation into Snowflake, allowing you to access greater memory and compute resources than you typically would in a standard R session. 🔍 Explore more about the Snowflake and Posit partnership → https://lnkd.in/gt2QCs_i 🎥 Watch the tutorial on YouTube → https://lnkd.in/gh9P7wNm

The Plotnine Contest has been extended until July 26th! If you are ready to test your python plotting chops, and contribute to the plotnine community, learn more and take part, https://lnkd.in/gC63skXE From Hassan Kibirige: - We have been thrilled with the uptick in the number of responses received for the plotnine visualisation Contest over the past week. This is the first run of this contest, and it has taken some time for the word to zip through the cosmos. To give everyone a bit more time to perfect their submissions and to allow those who have just been visited by the word to rise from their slumber, we are extending the deadline by two weeks. The contest will now close on July 26th. We are not threatened by your creativity. We promise.
