PortSL leases property to many partners, and features a plethora of facilities for a variety of industries. We are proud to be home to over 40 liquid and dry bulk terminals, 7 grain elevators, multiple mid-stream operations, and our public terminal, the Globalplex Intermodal Terminal.

On Friday, the Columbia-Snake River group, comprised of members from the Upper Mississippi Waterway Association, Washington Association of Wheat Growers, Pacific Northwest Waterways Association, Shaver Transportation Co, American Cruise Lines, Columbia River Pilots, and Riverview Boat Store, visited the Port of South Louisiana to learn about our operations and to compare notes on the issues faced by ports on the Lower Mississippi River, such as river logistics, permitting, and hurricane impacts.

We've had back-to-back years in growth. 🕶 PortSL is proud to announce that we have set a new revenue record for the second-straight year! With increased river depth, sustainable practices, multimodal ease of access, and more, PortSL is poised to keep growing. That's just another way PortSL is a better way to cargo!

PortSL is proud to announce an agreement to be part of a coalition with the other four ports based on the Lower Mississippi River to enhance trade efficiency and capitalize on industry trends!
