The Administrator in Training (AIT) Program at Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled is designed to provide aspiring healthcare leaders with a comprehensive and hands-on learning experience. program offers a structured curriculum, mentorship, and exposure to various aspects of skilled nursing facility administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learning and Development: Engage in a structured curriculum covering key areas such as healthcare regulations, financial management, human resources, quality assurance, and resident care.
2. Hands-On Experience: Rotate through different departments and functions within the facility to gain practical experience and a holistic understanding of skilled nursing facility operations.
3. Mentorship: Work closely with experienced administrators who will provide guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the program.
4. Projects and Assignments: Participate in projects and assignments to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations and contribute to the continuous improvement of facility operations.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on healthcare regulations and compliance requirements to ensure the facility's adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field. Must have a NHA license.
- Strong passion for healthcare and a desire to pursue a career in skilled nursing facility administration.
