Our Dero team has added parklets like this to many urban areas. A study conducted in Vancouver BC on parklets indicated that people thought they made streets more vibrant and fun. One of the most important reasons was the added social element where people can meet, relax, and talk. They also thought parklets added an important aesthetic value to the places they were located. Parklets can also reduce traffic and expand local business opportunities!
