Platt Richmond was pleased to attend Attorneys Serving the Community's 37th Annual Luncheon benefiting Crossroads Community Services. ASC is a dynamic volunteer organization of over 400 women lawyers and law students from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. With the assistance of groups like ASC, Crossroads helps low-income families move from food crisis into food and financial security.

Congrats to UNT Dallas College of Law for advancing in the 2024 Nuremberg Moot Court competition. After 144 teams from around the world submitted briefs during the briefing rounds, the UNT Law team was one of only 40 selected to travel to Nuremberg, Germany for oral arguments. The opening ceremony, final rounds, and closing ceremony all take place in the historic Courtroom 600, where the Nuremberg trials took place. Platt Richmond attorney Shannon Conway teaches at UNT Dallas College of Law and helped coach this impressive team. Platt Richmond attorney Shannon Conway was elected to serve a 2-year term on the Governing Council of the State Bar of Texas’ Insurance Law Section.  The Insurance Law Section is the official, sanctioned section of the State Bar of Texas consisting of approximately 2,300 members. Membership is open to all members of the State Bar of Texas.
