One of the pillars that guide Pinnacle is Empathetic Customer Service. Last week, Pinnacle’s consulting team held its annual meeting in the Cayman Islands and heard from our clients in Cayman about why that empathetic customer service is so important. Pinnacle team members met to work on topics such as outstanding communications, the implications of AI, continuous learning and more. It was a great time of development for the team and great preparation for an exciting rest of the year.

Like many industries, artificial intelligence (AI) portends a potential transformation of the insurance industry. As technology within the industry rapidly evolves, it has become even more important for companies to comply with regulatory requirements and overcome any ethical issues that may come with technological advancements. In a recent blog, Senior Consulting Actuary Radost Wenman covers the National Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) adoption of the Model Bulletin on the Use of Artificial Indigence Systems by Insurers. Radost explains tenants of the bulletin and how can be a guide for insurers to responsibly use AI. To read more of Radost’s blog, visit the link below! https://lnkd.in/gA3Drx7E

Pinnacle’s offices are closed today for Juneteenth, our nation’s newest national holiday. Juneteenth was a keystone day in American history. It celebrates the day in June 1865 when the end of slavery finally became a reality for all Americans, and all of our fellow countrymen and women became “henceforward and forever free.” Pinnacle wishes all a happy Juneteenth!
