As a dedicated member of the Enterprise Supply Chain team, she plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the best care possible by distributing essential supplies. Diana is proud to be part of PIH Health because of the collaborative environment to prioritize patient care. "I’ve always wanted to work for PIH Health to help people. #EmployeeSpotlight: Meet Paulla, a patient care unit clerk at PIH Health Whittier Hospital in the Emergency Department (ED). For over two decades, Paulla has dedicated herself to the ED at PIH Health Whittier Hospital, where she began her career working behind the registration desk during the department’s swing shift. “Each day in the ED is a new adventure,” shares Paulla. “We never know what patients will be arriving through the front door or ambulance bay.” She recognizes and appreciates the camaraderie among her department that allows them to work together to navigate these adventures and to provide the best patient care possible. Paulla’s commitment to putting #PatientsFirst is evident by her constant professionalism and by the way she treats patients, their family members, and fellow coworkers with dignity and respect, no matter what situation arises. In her spare time, she enjoys attending Dodger baseball games and USC Trojan football games, and spending time with her new grandson.
