Baker Tilly is a global professional services network that provides advisory, tax, assurance, and legal services! Sanjana has been working as a Cyber Risk Advisory Intern and here’s a little bit about her experience! “This summer i’ve been working as a Cyber Risk Advisory Intern at Baker Tilly. I primarily help my team develop test steps and conduct walkthroughs to test our clients IT controls for compliance with industry standards. We have also had the opportunity to participate in fun social events such as a game show, nationals game and many lunches. I’ve had such a great time this summer and am looking forward for my last year back in Blacksburg!” Pi Sigma Epsilon

Bank of America is a world-leading financial institution serving individuals all the way up through to large corporations, with a range of financial and risk management products and services! Jayson has been working as a chief administration office analyst out of the NYC office and here’s a little bit about his experience! “This summer I’ve been working at Bank of America as a chief administration office analyst in NYC. I’m currently on the global events team which plans and supports enterprise events for our CEO and executives. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to attend events for our private wealth management clients and network with top executives within the company. I’m super excited to use everything I’ve learned this summer and enjoy my senior year at VT!” Pi Sigma Epsilon

Excited to spotlight Jonathan Cedeno-Lopez, one of our outstanding soon-to-be sophomores, and his internship at Deloitte. Deloitte is a global professional services brand that provides a variety of services to a wide range of clients, including 80% of the Fortune 500! Jonathan has been working as a Discovery Intern out of the McLean, VA office and here’s a little bit about his experience! “This summer, I got the opportunity to work as 1 of 8 Discovery I interns at Deloitte in their McLean, VA office . The Discovery internship is a rotational internship where I was able to try out and learn about the multiple service lines Deloitte has to offer. For my first week, I was flown out to Deloitte University in Texas where I connected with other Discovery interns from across the country and started learning about what the next few weeks were going to consist of. This week we have been finishing up our final project where my group, made up of interns from McLean, Tampa, and New York, were assigned a non-profit and tasked to create an innovative solution for them to expand their outreach. Deloitte has also hosted many social events including National’s games, BBQs, escape rooms, and lunches where I was able to network with professionals and bond with my intern class. Overall, this experience has shown me that the Big 4 is where I want to be and how amazing it is to collaborate, be challenged, and work with students/coworkers across the country. I’m excited for this upcoming year as our DEIB chair and looking forward to my second year in Blacksburg as well as the upcoming generation of PSE VT!” Pi Sigma Epsilon
