Meet Briana, an LPN from our Wichita, KS region! When asked what gives her the passion to do what she does, she responded with, "Giving my patients quality care is extremely rewarding. Caring for people comes naturally, becoming a nurse was an easy decision." We asked Briana why she chose home care and Phoenix for her career. She said, "Home care gives me flexibility to do what I love without sacrificing time with my loved ones. Phoenix has given me a supportive environment with a fantastic supervisory team." Having been with Phoenix for 8 years and in the Home Care & Hospice industry for 18 years, along with her dedication to care, it's no wonder Briana is an exceptional and invaluable member of our team! Briana states, "My personal goal is to always provide the highest quality care to all of my patients. I believe most of the nurses feel the same. My team has always been willing to provide support when I need it. Whether that means training, supplies, assistance or just advice, I feel confident I can get that. Which makes having optimism, integrity, and compassion easy." We are so grateful to have you on team Phoenix, Briana!

New Beginnings and Dignity in Life's Journey
About us
Our Core Values: Our written core values reflect, in words, what is truly important to us as an organization. In our Mission we highlight the pillars of this culture: Compassion, Honesty and Patience. These descriptive words define our culture. Also in our DNA, we find these valuable qualities… Responsibility – We take full responsibility for our actions. Respect – We treat each other and those we serve with equal and high-level respect. Excellence – We strive to exceed the expectations standard in our industry – giving plus one service. Empathy – In all that we do, we ask, “What would I want if it were me?” Potential – We strive to help everyone reach their full potential in life. Courage – With an optimistic and brave heart we face each challenge, celebrating successes and viewing failures as opportunities to grow. Community – We are active participants in our communities…reaching out to be good neighbors. Our Story The story of the legend of the phoenix bird is a story of ever-changing growth and rebirth. The beautiful mythical creature reflected the lights and colors of the morning sunrise – – always chasing the light and capturing all that was beautiful. It is a symbol of constant rebirth, renewal and fresh starts. It is not a story of ashes but rather of beauty and upward thinking…(Isaiah 61:3). Our energy is focused on improving quality of life, perpetuating positive attitudes and embracing the challenges life places before us with grace, respect and compassion. Our catalyst to consistently rise to new heights is a combination of perpetual learning, measurement of success, looking through the eyes of those we serve and listening with the heart which causes us to pause and discover what is really important in each situation. Within the listening and the application of learning we find new beginnings. …We are Phoenix Home Care.

Meet Amber, one of our Caregivers from Lebanon! She is part of our In-Home team in that region. When we asked Amber "What gives you the passion to do what you do?," she replied with, "I thrive on tending to others' needs, whether that be making their favorite meal or helping to get dressed and ready for the day. I love seeing their smiling faces when I walk through the door. I take pride in my job as well as the company I work for. Getting to know the clients makes me feel honored because they have told me stories from childhood up to the day they've gotten married, and the joy it brings them to tell their stories brings joy to my heart. So the passion to do what I do, is the client. They are my passion." Amber has been with Phoenix for two years, but she tells us that she's been in Home Care for seven years total! When we asked her the question, "Why Home Care & Why Phoenix?," her response was, "The simplest way I can answer it is that I do my job because I gain a lot of joy and happiness when taking care of others. Phoenix isn't just a company, its a family. They treat you with the utmost respect and value you as a person. I've never worked for someone before who takes pride in their family employees." While Amber isn't caring for clients, she tells us that her pride and joy is her daughter and that she loves spending her downtime with both her daughter and husband. "We love to go for rides on the side by side out in the field and look at the wildlife. We love to go fishing as a family as well as camping." Amber, you have such a huge and caring heart, and we are so blessed to have you on team Phoenix!
