This month, our elementary schools hosted their annual Back-to-School nights, which allows our families a great opportunity to visit their child's school, get questions answered, and connect with teachers and administrators. It serves as a great kickoff to the 2023-24 School Year! We can't wait to see what other events our campuses host this year!

Our district has a strong relationship with our media partners, which made selecting the PGHS Social Media & Digital Marketing Class, its instructor Chris Powell, and WTVR CBS 6 Richmond Senior Reporter Wayne Covil for inclusion on the VSBA's Media Honor Roll program ! GIVING BACK: Our district is happy to have great community partners and we enjoy the opportunity to thank them for supporting our students. On Monday, our school board welcomed The Tylers of Kulture Kuts. The duo offered their time and talents to support during our Back-to-School kickoff event, providing free haircuts to over 50 students during the event.

Several of our elementary campuses hosted their annual Back-to-School Nights last week! The events, a tradition for the district's schools, offer a great opportunity for families to collaborate with teachers, get questions answered, and have fun at their child's school! These events are fun outreach events that serve to kick off our year in a positive way!
