As we prepare for all the fun, remember that fireworks can be overstimulating for children with Autism, and sensory overload might just be too much to handle. Help your child manage the day's events by: ✅Preparing your Child by talking to them about what will be going on ✅Bringing along some sunglasses and noise-canceling headphones ✅Watching from a distance ✅Having an escape plan or a Plan B in the event your child is overstimulated ✅Focusing on the fun! If you have a smile on your face so will your child.
