To kick-off the start of summer, the TIMET Toronto team enjoyed a fun day at a Pittsburgh Pirates game with our outstanding and hard-working Co-op students!

The NQSA (Nuclear Quality Standard Association) has awarded PCC’s Special Metals operation in Newton, NC, its ISO 19443: 2018 certification – making Specials Metals the first supplier in the United States to achieve the certification. ISO 19443:2018 is the global standard for Quality Management Systems in the nuclear sector and sets a framework and defines the specific requirements of a Quality Management System in the nuclear sector. There are currently just over 100 certified suppliers in the world with approximately 100 more in the certification process. https://lnkd.in/g_7TvdiW

On April 24th, our TIMET – Toronto operation in Ohio recognized Aubrey on Administrative Professional’s Day. Aubrey is the site’s Administrative Assistant and has been with the Toronto organization since July 2022. She is an essential team member of the Toronto business, and her talents and work ethic are extremely appreciated. Thank you for all that you do for the business and our team members, Aubrey!

TIMET – Ravenswood in West Virginia proudly supports the local Ripley High School “Vikings” Marching Band on their journey to Disney World! Our team at our new TIMET – Ravenswood facility is making an impact in the community and boosting economic development by creating opportunities for local families!

On Friday, March 8th, our TIMET – Toronto team honored International Women’s Day. We are proud to have so many hardworking women within TIMET and glad we are able to celebrate them on International Women’s Day and every day. #IWD2024

In February, the TIMET – Toronto team attended the ASM Young Members Night event at Carnegie Mellon University where they networked with Material Science students; some of who are now exploring Metallurgist co-op opportunities at the Toronto, Ohio plant.

March of 2024 marks a milestone for TIMET – construction begins on our new, state of the art, titanium melt facility located in West Virginia. 🔋 ⚡ This greenfield operation is expected to use 100% renewable energy to manufacture titanium products for the aerospace, defense, industrial and medical applications.
