A recent question that's been asked about the upcoming referendum: Question: The question on the ballot says that if I vote “yes” for the Palos 118 referendum, my taxes will go up? Is that true? Answer: NO. The $161.39 increase in operating taxes WILL BE COMPLETELY OFFSET by the corresponding $161.39 decrease in debt service taxes since the school district will pay off all its existing debt in December 2024. Read Dr. Scarsella’s explanation of the ballot question here: https://lnkd.in/dj9PAa4t
