Ever since House Bill 2394 was voted out of the House Finance Committee, big banks and their partners have flooded the zone with claims bordering on the hysterical. Quite frankly, the industry’s reaction is over the top. The claims are misleading at best, and wholly out of proportion with the change being proposed.
