We have been receiving so many update photos and videos of projects PACIFICA has been a part of, and it's so great to see employees so happy and proud of the work they have been a part of. At Pacifica Engineering Services, LLC, we are thrilled to receive updates from our amazing employees, who send us pictures and videos of the projects we are involved in across South Florida. It's incredibly inspiring to see our team members proud of the work they do and eager to share their accomplishments. To celebrate this enthusiasm, we’ve launched a Photo Contest Chat where each week we select the best photo or video from an employee on a job site, at an event, a conference, or networking with other professionals. This initiative has fostered a stronger sense of community and family among all PACIFICA employees. It's exciting to see everyone so eager to show off their work when a project is complete, knowing that months or even years of effort have gone into it. Here are some of the fantastic projects our team has been working on: 1.      Princeton Landings in Princeton, FL Our team handled Construction Materials Testing and Post-Tension Inspections for Related Group. 2.      C-139 Flow Equalization Basin in Clewiston, Florida PACIFICA provided contractor quality control (CQC) services for MasTec Civil, LLC and Ranger Construction Industries, Inc. 3.      Naranja Grand I & II in Leisure City, FL PACIFICA delivered Material Testing and Threshold Inspection Services for HTG, Inc. and Elite Equity Development, Inc. These updates not only highlight the dedication and talent of our team but also showcase the diverse and impactful projects we undertake. 🚧Pacifica Engineering Services Joins Forces in Everglades Restoration Project 🌿 We are proud to share some amazing footage, captured by one of our very talented PACIFICA employees, from the groundbreaking ceremony for the L-28 South Culverts Key Everglades Restoration Project, an essential component of the Western Everglades Restoration Project (WERP). Spearheaded by the South Florida Water Management District, with support from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, and the Seminole Tribe of Florida, this project is being fast-tracked to deliver early environmental benefits. This initiative aims to revive the natural water flow in Big Cypress National Preserve and the western Everglades National Park, enhancing water distribution and ecological connectivity. The project includes the construction of three bidirectional culverts and spreader canals within the L-28 South Levee, designed to manage water flow in both westward and eastward directions. This effort will support the broader goals of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) by reconnecting Water Conservation Area 3A with Big Cypress National Preserve and Lostmans Slough. The restored habitats will provide crucial areas for panthers, reduce the impact of over-drainage, and maintain flood protection in developed zones. Since 2019, the South Florida Water Management District and the US Army Corps of Engineers have marked over 70 milestones, including project completions and groundbreakings in Everglades restoration. Pacifica Engineering Services, LLC is honored to be a part of this significant effort, providing critical Contractor Quality Control (CQC), vibration monitoring, pre/post-construction survey, and culvert load rating services to Phillips & Jordan, Inc. to ensure top-tier quality and compliance.
