Our upcoming mid-year conference PTC'DC is set to impress with engaging sessions and speakers! To kick off this 2-day event, join us for our first featured session, "Digital Dominance: Asian Impact, Security, Future Outlook", featuring Ambassador Nathaniel Fick and William Barney on Thursday, 5 September 2024 from 9:15 AM-10:00 AM. “Technology is now 'the game,' and we must engage in this geopolitical competition boldly and with urgency on behalf of our values and interests.” – Nathaniel Fick, U.S. Ambassador at Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy As our world enters a more sophisticated digital generation, the acceleration of Asian dominance has amplified the importance of digital infrastructure. Initially driven by the private sector, assets such as submarine cables, data centers, and satellites have transitioned into strategic assets for countries and regions, impacting not only economic growth but state security. With technologies like cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) increasingly integrated into these assets, security becomes geometrically more important than ever. During this fireside chat with The Honorable Nathaniel Fick, U.S. Ambassador at Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy, we will explore the evolution of digital infrastructure in Asia and its impact on the world, from a U.S. government perspective.
