About us

The P&G Alumni Network is a nonprofit organization comprised of 35,000+ Procter & Gamble alumni around the globe. Our mission is to: 1) connect alumni to each other, 2) provide enriched via shared learning, and 3) give back to our local communities via philanthropic efforts. Every two years we offer a global conference/reunion that draws ex-P&Gers from many walks of life together for camaraderie and learning. We are not formally connected with the Procter & Gamble Company, but they are supportive of our efforts and we have obtained a trademark agreement to use the P&G name. Membership to the Network is open to any person who has been employed by P&G at any time, anywhere, in any function or capacity. It includes both retirees and those still actively engaged in professional careers outside of P&G. Current employees of P&G are not eligible to join the P&G Alumni Network.

  • 📝 "Being a writer is just bloody hard work and passion. It is a kind of madness, which compels you every day to go to say, ‘OK, let's do it again today’ " Manreet Sodhi Smeshwar Manreet Someshwar is the author of nine novels 📚 - including The Long Walk Home, Radiance of a Thousand Suns, and most recently The Partition Trilogy - a historical fiction novel series about one of the great human tragedies of the 20th century. Manreet’s articles and essays have appeared in the NY Times 📰, the International Herald Tribune, and the South China Morning Post, among others. Manreet has taught for the New York Public Library 📚 and the City College of New York 🏫 - and she’s a former corporate citizen having done stints in Asia 🌏, and a parent grappling with the world our kids will inherit 👶. Manreet’s recently completed Partition Trilogy - a series of 3 books titled Lahore, Hyderabad, and Kashmir - are a historical fiction set during, before, and immediately after the Partition and independence of India and Pakistan in 1947. Partition is among the greatest humanitarian disasters of the 20th century and the largest mass migration in history 🌍. The history of Partition impacts and informs much of what is happening today, in both Asia and the United States 🇺🇸 - from the tensions between India and Pakistan 🇮🇳🇵🇰, and the rise of nationalism and extremism in our politics around the world 🌐. Manreet’s unique voice focuses not just on the personal musings of these larger-than-life historical figures - like India’s founding fathers Gandhi & Nehru, but she also breathes life into characters who represent the stats and figures that we sometimes gloss over when we hear of a tragedy (including the role and subversion of women by history) 👩🏽🎓. This is a powerful conversation about the weaponization of history, and how storytelling - and fact-checking - have to work hand in hand to inform the next generation 🗣️. Listen NOW at 👉 https://bit.ly/4cYv8Zs  👈 This is a past conversation from Raman’s other podcast, Modern Minorities, where each week we share minority conversations for all of our majority years. You’ll enjoy this candid conversation that we hope will provide new perspectives and learnings 📖. #LearningsFromLeaders #Podcast #WomenAuthors #ModernMinorities #IndianAuthors Raman Sehgal

  • 🌟 Celebrating Innovation and Sustainable Agriculture with iDE! 🌟 iDE (International Development Enterprises) is a visionary organization believing in the power of markets to create prosperity and end poverty. Led by dedicated sponsor Linda J. Porter-Cox, with 16 years of impactful service at P&G in the U.S. and Latin America, iDE is transforming communities and empowering small-scale farmers worldwide. 🌾💼 In Nepal's Kaski District, marginalized ethnic groups face significant challenges in accessing agronomist knowledge and quality fertilizer, hindering farm productivity. But iDE has developed an innovative biofertilizer solution, resulting in higher crop yields and less soil-borne disease. 🌱💧 The P&G ALUMNI FOUNDATION is proud to partner with iDE to begin Phase II of the project that will expand this solution to 42 farmers and leaders, creating sustainable income streams through community-managed biofertilizer Collection Centers.  iDE will provide entrepreneurship training, develop business models, and facilitate inter-district visits for idea exchange and support. 📈🌍 In Nepal, marigolds symbolize energy and creativity while serving as natural bug repellents for farmers like Kamala Khadkha. With iDE's support in promoting regenerative agricultural practices like vermicomposting and biochar production, farmers enhance soil health and increase crop yields. 🌼🌿 Join us in celebrating iDE's commitment to innovation and sustainable agriculture, empowering communities and transforming lives.
