They gained invaluable knowledge on the latest advancements in athletic training and connected with industry leaders. We're excited to implement these insights to provide even better care to the athletes we serve.

This week’s #FeatureFridayDoctor is Adam Smith, MD. Dr. Adam Smith’s subspecialty training is in reconstruction of the hip and knee. The goal of his practice is to provide expert treatment of hip and knee problems with use of arthroscopy, partial (unicompartmental) and total knee replacement, total hip replacement, mini-incision hip replacement, realignment procedures (avoiding joint replacement), and revision hip and knee replacements (when the prosthesis has failed). This week’s #FeatureFriday doctor is Richard Wirges, MD. As a hand surgery specialist at OrthoArkansas, Dr. Wirges treats patients of all ages who have a variety of conditions. He has a special interest in the treatment of Dupytren's disease, arthritis, trigger fingers, nerve compressions, sports injuries and trauma. He helped develop, implement, and participates in the current statewide Hand Trauma Telemedicine service, providing a higher level of care for all of Arkansas.
