Throughout the month June, our Marriott International Eastern Region associates celebrated #PrideMonth with parades, Serve 360 volunteer opportunities, and various celebratory events. Associates at the Orlando World Center Marriott and JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort and Spa participated in the CommUNITY Rainbow Run, while Talent at the W Fort Lauderdale hosted a Pride celebration complete with a “Love Is Sweet” table with rainbow smoothies and cake. At the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, the team held their second annual Pride Flag Raising and donated funds to Zebra Youth, an organization dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ youth in Orlando. Also in Central Florida, the Renaissance Orlando At SeaWorld decorated the Heart of House, shared themed treats, and offered exciting photo ops. In New Orleans and Boston, including the Boston Marriott Long Wharf, associates gathered for Pride parades and festivals, and the team at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center wore Pride pins and highlighted the LGBTQ+|ONE Associate Resource Group. Thank you to all leaders and associates who share pride with the LGBTQ+ community, and amplify our Serve 360 commitments to diversity, equity, inclusion, social impact, and sustainability.
