ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) hesabı, elmi tədqiqatçılar üçün çox vacib bir vasitədir. Bu unikal identifikator, tədqiqatçıların akademik fəaliyyətlərinin düzgün şəkildə tanınmasını və izlənməsini təmin edir. ORCID, hər bir tədqiqatçıya unikal bir identifikator təyin edir. Bu, tədqiqatçının əsərlərinin və fəaliyyətlərinin qarışıq yaranmadan onlara aid edilməsinə kömək edir. Great session with European Association of Science Editors (EASE) this morning about PID-optimized workflows, ORCID, use cases, etc. I'm proud of how ORCID continues to deliver value across the research life-cycle and excited for our next strategic planning process. As Board Chair, I'm always happy to give a presentation to groups - webinar or in person!

We are making Open Researcher and Contributor IDs (ORCID) mandatory across all our journals 🔏 Why? Because ORCIDs help to: 👉 prevent ambiguity for authors 👉 strengthen research integrity 👉 promote transparency, accountability, and efficiency 👉 benefit both authors and the broader scientific community!

Check out this blog about ORCID adoption on Northwestern’s campus over at Lyrasis. "In 2022, along with bringing together a mostly new team, Northwestern decided to undergo an ORCID Data Review. This ORCID Data Review would be a review of current adoption of ORCID at Northwestern University, and would provide leadership at Northwestern with a better understanding of the current state of ORCID data associated with the university. As a part of the review, the recommendations outlined would also provide descriptions of ORCID API integration capabilities in Northwestern software systems, examine pathways for authenticating ORCID iDs, and share how to enrich data in Northwestern researchers’ ORCID profiles."
