The OpenID Foundation’s eKYC & IDA Working Group recommends approval of the following specifications as OpenID Final Specifications. 🛂 OpenID Connect for Identity Assurance 1.0 📇 OpenID Connect for Identity Assurance Claims Registration 1.0 ✅ OpenID Identity Assurance schema definition 1.0 https://lnkd.in/eEJuuxPq As explained in the post above, the 60-day public review period begins today. Unless issues are identified during the review that the working group believes must be addressed by revising the draft, this review period will be followed by a seven-day voting period during which OpenID Foundation members will vote on whether to approve this draft as an OpenID Final Specification. For the convenience of members, voting will actually begin a week before the start of the official voting period for members who have completed their reviews by then. The Co-Chairs of the #SharedSignals Work Group have summarized the updates you can expect to see - and why - in the 3 drafts released for Public Review last week. 🔐 One minor but normative change was required to Implementer's Draft 2 following a comprehensive security analysis by the University of Stuttgart 👈 The new draft is backwards compatible 🗓 There are 2 new event types in the CAEP spec for ITDR applications 🎁 And a brand new CAEP interop spec to help for out-of-the box interoperability The 45 day review period for these drafts began on June 27.
