Thanks to a grant from the Roundhouse Foundation, our Salud team offered their first cooking and nutrition class for patients. Thank you Silvia Maciel and Ariana Briones for leading the way and teaching these important skills!

One Community Health was recently recognized with the Oregon Rural Health Excellence Award for our team's work surrounding a clinic, community, and academic partnership to advance HPV vaccine rates in our community. The Rural Adolescent Vaccine Enterprise (RAVE) project engaged 45 rural clinics in Oregon to increase HPV vaccination rates. OCH stood out as an exemplary clinic site for our engagement across clinical teams in the implementation process, partnership with community programs, and observed improvement in clinical workflows and HPV vaccination rates using data from Oregon’s ALERT Immunization Information System (IIS).  Special thank you to the OCH RAVE team led by Dr. Kate McKenna and Dr. Jennifer Jehnsen for their engagement and efforts in the project.
