We are so proud of our Nebraska High School Theater Academy students Samara and Derek and how they represented O-pa during their big trip to NYC for The Jimmy Awards! 🏆 Samara was named the week's Rising Star for impressive advancement during the Jimmy Awards program. 🌟 While in New York, they got to explore the city, attend the Tony Awards, see MJ the Musical AND let their talents shine on stage at the 2024 Jimmy Awards. 💛 We're excited to see what the future has in store for them!

Steelhouse Omaha is bringing home the gold AGAIN 🥇 This time Steelhouse was recognized by the IIDA Great Plains Chapter Interior Design Excellence Awards! This would not be possible without Holland Basham Architects and Ennead Architects 👏

The party may have moved inside, but Twilight on the Terrace was still a BLAST! We got to dance the night away with The Day Traders and DJ Crabrangucci and raise money to benefit our Disney Musicals in Schools program 👏 Thank you to the steering committee for their efforts year-round and for everyone who made this event possible!

Can you believe all of the SPECTACULAR things these students learned during our vocal, dance, and production workshop with Moulin Rouge! The Musical last week? 💎 It's safe to say they're all sparkling diamonds! We want to extend a thank you to Kathy Tyree Productions, Foresight Theatrical, LLC, Global Creatures, and the cast and crew of the show for making this day possible. 💃

Steelhouse Omaha continues to bring home the gold 🏆 Steelhouse has won the Gold Medal in the Structural Systems category of the 2024 American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Texas Engineering Excellence Awards! This honor is due to the brilliant work of Walter P Moore, Steelhouse's structural building engineer. We want to extend a huge congratulations to their team and everyone who made this recognition possible!

We are BEAMING over here at Omaha Performing Arts 🏗️ 🤩 All jokes aside, we are excited to share a look at the signed beam for the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement being raised for the building's topping out last month! Tenaska employees, along with our donors, were able to make their mark on the building by signing the beam before it was moved to the construction site. We love watching the building take shape!

There's a lot to celebrate today 🎉 Our president, Joan Squires, will be inducted into the 2024 Greater Omaha Chamber’s Business Hall of Fame! This is a tremendous honor and we couldn't be more proud of Joan. We can't wait for her to be recognized at this year’s gala at the Holland Center on August 21st! #OMALegends
