Autoliv broke ground on a solar farm right here in Ogden with an eye on innovation and sustainability. Autoliv will run their established facility off of a solar farm that will prevent the release of 263,825,412 pounds of carbon dioxide that otherwise would have been released to power the plant. The Standard Examiner quoted Governor Cox saying, "The innovation that’s happening here, the science behind what you’re doing. You’re literally harnessing the power of the sun to make bags of gas that save people’s lives. That’s mind boggling to me.” This solar installation is one second of four planned, check out where else in Utah Autoliv is looking to more towards sustainability. https://lnkd.in/dQ9UPs95 #economicdevelopment #sustainability #cleanair
