With today being the 4th of July remember to practice these safety measures to ensure a fun and safe time with your friends and family! 1. Do not allow children to handle fireworks 2. Never use fireworks while impaired 3. Wear protective eyewear when using or standing near fire works 4. Never Use them indoors and be sure to be a safe distance from structure and people 5. Never point them at anyone 6. Keep a water source or fire extinguisher on hand Fireworks can be a fun experience for the entire family, but without safety it can quickly turn into a nightmare. The final week of the National Safety Month is focused on the prevention of slips, trips and falls. These preventable injuries are a danger for nearly every workforce.
