The life of every person is a diary in which we keep one journal, while meaning to write another. Organizational psychologist Benjamin Hardy, PhD introduces me to this idea from Scottish playwrite J.M. Barrie, who wrote the original Peter Pan. What does this mean for former/in-transition chief communications officers? Find out below. #scan #ocrnetwork #nextpagesociety #lifepostcco

Congrats to OCR research assistant Morgan Harris a senior at Rice University on his job offer from Oliver Wyman!
I’m beyond blessed to announce that I will be joining Oliver Wyman as a consultant after I graduate from Rice University next spring! First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family, who have been a constant source of support and motivation. I'd also like to extend my sincere appreciation to my peers at Rice, especially Jeremy Ghatan, Tolu Asupoto, and Kenechukwu Onubogu, for their invaluable support during the recruitment process. I would also like to acknowledge the incredible guidance I received from SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity), particularly Julian Villarreal and Nicole Catalfamo, MS, as I embarked on this journey over the summer and up to this point. Special thanks as well to Craig Carroll, who I was able to confide in and gain valuable advice from over these past several months. Finally, I would not have made it this far without Christi Muoneke and Kelley McCoy, who supported and encouraged me a few summers ago at TaxBit as I began my professional journey. I look forward to this next chapter as I continue to explore my passions and develop both professionally and personally. #managementconsulting #oliverwyman

Today we're mindful of the world's loss of Otto Lerbinger, father of corporate affairs. Lerbinger was one of the foundational, first voices in corporate affairs, giving it definiton, meaning, a pathway, and encouraging others to follow. Lerbinger was a guest of honor at our first Senior Corporate Affairs Summit co-hosted by NYU and Oxford University's Centre for Corporate Reputation and Corporate Affairs Academy
Saddened to learn of the passing of Otto Lerbinger (PhD, MIT), professor emeritus at Boston University. It was from Otto that I first saw the connections between communications and corporate affairs with business and societal value some 20 years ago. Far better than most academics. Otto was a guest of honor at our very first Senior Corporate Affairs Summit. This second photo is simply to signify taking a moment of silence and the dark day of his passing. I will never forget his focus, his optimism, his grace, his support, his energy, his time, his love of life and his family. RIP Otto.
