Boutique Group seeks to enrich the Kingdom's cultural sector and contribute to the economy's growth by transforming several cultural and historical palaces across Saudi Arabia into ultra-luxury boutique hotels as part of the 2030 Vision. OBMI has been honored to design the redevelopment of Al Hamra Palace, located along Jeddah’s iconic corniche. The design deeply respects the Saudi Arabian culture, which is rooted in hospitality and tradition, contributing to Al Hamra's uniqueness and top tier level of luxury. OBMI's design features authentic design and pays homage to the palace's past while seamlessly blending modern amenities and technology - a challenge that our designers and Boutique Group prioritized to ensure guests could feel the remarkable history and culture of KSA. Rosewood Little Dix Bay has been recognized as one of Condé Nast Traveller's Best Hotels in the Caribbean! The resort's storied history dates back to 1964 when Laurance Rockefeller created a hidden paradise that offered guests a beachcomber lifestyle. After nearly 60 years, Rosewood Little Dix Bay's philosophy of environmental sustainability and seamlessly integrating into the sensitive environment of the Caribbean is still a priority. There is something remarkably special about working with a company that puts culture in the heart of everything they do. Aside from taking on projects that preserve and promote culture in a myriad of places around the world, OBMI starts from the inside out. The culture created amongst their own people, within their own offices. I’ve been with this firm for nearly two years now and I still continue to be in awe of the steps taken to ensure that their people are cared for first. I am lucky enough to witness first hand how these people then continue to design spaces that care for others. In an industry that is known to lend itself easily to ego and burn out, OBMI created an environment where people show up excited to design together, where passion is prevalent and people are encouraged, no matter what stage of their careers they are in. The words sustainability and wellness continue to be thrown around our industry as a selling point, a trendy one too.. But how can we design spaces that promote wellbeing if the spaces we design in don’t? How can you present thoughtful, caring, and sustainable design in the midst of an entirely opposing environment? OBMI has shown me the beauty of a collaborative office. It has shown me the way that great culture induces great design. It has shown me the intricacies of designing with intention and care. It continues to inspire me every day. This company has never shied away from the words “love” or “care”, to love and care for the people and places we work with, the people that inhabit them, and ourselves too. All of this is to mark my two years by sharing a note of positivity and a lesson learned. “You can’t pour from an empty cup.”

Royal Mansour Marrakech, synonymous with decadence and luxury, has once again been recognized for its excellence. The hotel has been listed as one of Travel + Leisure Co.'s "Top Hotels in the World," a testament to its unparalleled hospitality and service fit for royalty. The palatial Royal Mansour Marrakech, designed by OBMI, uniquely swaps standard rooms and suites for 53 private villas. Each villa follows the architectural style of a Moroccan riad and features work by local artisans to further immerse guests in the local culture. The exceptional service, authentic design, 5-star spa with a traditional hammam, 4 signature dining experiences, and perfectly manicured gardens, create a truly memorable hospitality experience. We are honored to be a part of creating this journey of Moroccan art de vivre. Congratulations to all those recognized on the list!
