As part of the remanufacturing process for a Sellers Axle Lathe, Manufacturing Quality Engineer Gavin Dowse captured 3D scans of the major sub-assemblies - in this case, the bed. These scans are part of the quality assurance process, and one of the many reasons that customers work with NSH USA for machine tool remanufacturing services. #manufacturing

Curtain up for a little sneak peek behind the scenes of our latest film project at the premises of our brand NILES-SIMMONS in Chemnitz. Together with our film partner VideoVision we captured the highlights of our new vertical turning center DZS-400, which was developed in cooperation with the brand RASOMA. The machine, based on the existing DZS-series, was extensively re-engineered and adapted to specific customer needs. We also refer to this machine as the "Statormaker" because, in addition to processing cup-shaped and tubular, thin-walled workpieces, it specifically handles all known types of stator housings for the e-mobility sector.
