Next Phase offices are closed today in observation of Juneteenth. On this day in 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas to deliver an important message to 250,000 enslaved Black people that the Union won the Civil War two months prior and thus could enforce the end of slavery.  While this day marks the end of slavery for the Black community in the United States, there is still work to be done to live in a just and equal society. This week, members of our Engineering team were in San Francisco for the Databricks #DataAISummit, exploring the latest in data engineering, AI advancements, and machine learning techniques. Engaging keynote addresses and hands-on workshops provided invaluable insights and an opportunity to connect with fellow innovators in the field. This experience will empower us to enhance our services and deliver state-of-the-art solutions to current and future clients. We’re excited to harness these new learnings and technologies to continue our mission of innovation and excellence.

Next Phase was proud to support this year's Morgan State University Alumni Association (MSUAA)'s Howard County Anniversary Gala last week. We were grateful to award the Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. STEM Scholarship to Anna Itakpee, who is pursuing her degree in Information Systems with a concentration in Cyber Security.
