I am so happy to say I graduated first with my associate's degree in business administration and second with my high school diploma. My experience in the P-TECH program wasn’t easy, there were many obstacles and many challenges throughout my four years of high school. Balancing my personal, work, and school life made me into the person I am today. I have learned to be strong-minded, self-sufficient, brave, critical, and honest. I’ve seen my classmates through it all. Covid hit like no other, but I wasn’t alone. The class of 2024 has faced many challenges during the pandemic causing most to feel stuck and unmotivated to continue with life. We have faced a world full of hatred and darkness. Nevertheless, we made it. I joined P-TECH with the mindset of success. I wanted to be outstanding. I wanted to be ahead. I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity that most teenagers don’t have. Though there have been times when I was afraid of missing out on the teenage experience I have conquered and accomplished many things. I’ve had the honor to be vice president ambassador of P-TECH, ASP ambassador, national honor society member, key club member sophomore year, and intern for two exceptional companies. I have learned many valuable skills throughout my time in P-TECH. I will forever be thankful for the opportunities and growth P-TECH has given me. I am still learning every day to be the better me. I am looking forward to growing and becoming who I’ve always dreamed of being. Graduating is a milestone I will forever cherish and be proud of. I will make myself even prouder by embracing who I am and sharing my kindness and motivation with the world. I won’t let myself down. I will make the world a happier place every day by being positive and open to growth.
