We are excited to introduce our newest team member, Tyler Fehsenfeld! After interning for us in the past, Tyler is joining the team as a full time employee! He graduated last year from Kendall College of Art with a degree in Collaborative Design. Tyler has strong illustration and graphic design skills that he is utilizing throughout several of our projects. His can-do attitude and deep curiosity keep him exploring and allow him to push the boundaries on all his work. Tyler has consistently demonstrated dedication, creativity, and a passion for design that truly aligns with our company’s values. His favorite projects are based around accessibility and any project that makes someone's life easier or day brighter. As a dedicated mentor and lifelong learner, Adam believes in the power of sharing knowledge and continuously seeking growth opportunities. His journey has led him through various roles, from founding Visual Alchemy to serving as Product & UX Design Lead at Vervint. Each experience has shaped his approach and fueled curiosity. Beyond design, Adam is a proud family man, consistent weightlifter, and enthusiastic mountain biker who finds inspiration in connecting with people and experiencing new cultures through travel. Our studio isn’t immune to the impact Midwest winters can have on mental health. Even though we’ve had some surprise warmth here in Michigan, we still face uncertain spring weather and gray days ahead. We wanted to share some simple tips on what helps us keep our mood up. 🌿 Plants: We have a growing collection of plants in our office. This helps give our space a pop of color which is great when the weather turns grey and dreary. 💡 Lighting: Lamps are another great way to brighten up the space. We use a couple of light therapy lamps that simulate sunlight. ☕️ Food and Drink: Our kitchen area is always fully stocked with snacks, tea, and coffee to make sure we’re fueled up and ready to go. 💙 Vitamins: These are a great way to keep yourself feeling good during the winter months. Some of our favorites are Vitamin D and Ashwagandha. 🥰 Blankets: It can get pretty chilly in our office space, so we like to keep blankets on hand to make sure we are comfy and cozy at all times. 🚶 Walking: Chilly walks around our parking lot are definitely not as fun as warm summer ones, but it can be really nice to breathe in some fresh air and move around. We especially like to take outdoor walks when the sun is out! 🎨 Doodling: Drawing on free whiteboard space is not only a fun way to take a break, but it makes us smile whenever we see these doodles throughout the day. Highly recommend. 🤝 Support: Be sure to ask for help or support whenever you need it as struggling in silence can make the problem worse. We’re lucky to have an understanding team of people here and we hope you have the same type of situation wherever you are. Mental health is important to us as a team and we like to support each other and the community. If you feel like you are struggling with something beyond the seasonal slump, we’ve included a few links for local and state mental health resources in Michigan.
