Updates

  • Activate Your Voice & Make an Impact — ESSA Plan Revisions The PED is undertaking a revision of our consolidated state plan under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) as a key lever to support a renewed vision toward setting high expectations for schools and to help monitor whether equitable conditions for learning are being provided for every student across the state. These updates will set the stage for state and local policy to ensure educational equity, excellence, and relevance. Now more than ever presents an opportunity for us to take stock of what’s working and where there are opportunities to better support each and every learner. Make an impact on education in New Mexico by completing input surveys for key programs that affect school accountability, supports for multi-lingual learners, funding for rural school communities, and much more! Deadline to submit input is July 31st. Click the link below to learn more, review recommended updates, and provide feedback. https://lnkd.in/gipchFhM Questions?
