It’s a fact: Existing higher education models don’t work for everyone. That’s why New World of Work is translating tomorrow’s work trends into real opportunities for today’s learners. By working with entrepreneurs and employers both locally and nationally, we have identified the top 21st Century Skills that are critical for success in the New World of Work. In this new economy, practical talents are often favored over traditional modes of education. Our educators are committed to designing lessons and curriculum that teach these critical skills through innovative methods, including experiential learning, gamification and more. We want to inspire learners with the opportunities that are available to them, but more importantly, we want to empower them to embrace those opportunities. It’s time to acknowledge that a traditional education is not always the key to an employable future. By bridging the gap between education and the workplace, the New World of Work team translates trends into action steps – and by taking those steps, our students will have a clearer pathway to success.
