🙌🛠 Wilkes Community College recently hosted a week-long Construction Girls Camp tailored for girls in grades 9-12. 🥳✨ Wake Technical Community College will receive $882,115 in federal funding to improve access to a STEM education. Funding will be allocated towards Wake Tech’s Security and Network Training through Inclusive, Novel, and Experiential Learning (SENTINEL) project. 🙌✨ 💻📱The SENTINEL project seeks to educate students in the fields of advanced networking, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IOT). The American Home Furnishings Alliance Furniture Foundation has awarded $54,000 in educational grants for 2024. The largest recipient this year once again was Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory. 🪑🛋 The College received $22,000 for its two furniture academies, including $7,000 for scholarships to support up to 28 students enrolling at its main Hickory campus and $15,000 for scholarships providing tuition for up to 60 students at its Alexander Furniture Academy in Taylorsville. 🥳 ➡ Read more: https://lnkd.in/eSZqCN6k
