We were excited to work with Americans for Responsible Innovation on their AI Policy Impact Forum last week on the Hill. Everyone involved in the event knocked it out of the park. AI policy is still in its early stages, and this was a great opportunity to hear from lawmakers representing both parties in both chambers that are crafting the legislation and shaping the guidelines for the present and future of how Washington approaches artificial intelligence. Kudos to the full ARI team for convening policymakers, staff, and AI experts from the private, nonprofit, academic, and research sectors for an outstanding event and reception. The kinds of conversations held during the Forum from such a wide array of stakeholders are critical for effectively tackling an issue with such an immense impact on government and business as artificial intelligence. We’re excited to see what comes next.
On Wednesday, Americans for Responsible Innovation hosted its AI Policy Impact Forum on Capitol Hill. We were honored to be joined at this event by some of the leading U.S. policymaker voices on AI issues, including Senator Todd Young, Senator Joni Ernst, Congressman Ted Lieu, Congressman Jim Himes, and Congressman Don Beyer. The direct insight and thoughtful commentary provided by these officials was illuminating, and we look forward to continuing to engage with government and other key stakeholders on these issues in Washington. Helping policymakers from across the aisle approach issues surrounding AI and other emerging technologies is fundamental to our organization’s mission. Thank you to all who attended the AI Policy Impact Forum and Reception. We look forward to continuing to convene these important discussions in the future. https://lnkd.in/erFM3TfY
