  • Check out this excellent article! 10 of the friendliest Towns in the Rockies! Jackson, Wyoming, and Teton Powow made the list! "The great outdoors already offers plenty of attractions, but Jackson does its fair share to keep up. Such annual events as the Old West Days/Teton Powwow (May), the Jackson Hole Rodeo (June), and the Grand Teton Music Festival (July/August) always bring in joyful crowds." https://ow.ly/FAs350REQsy #powwows #jacksonholewy #jacksonhole #jacksonholewyoming

Native American Jump Start provides opportunities for growth and success for Native American individuals and families through education and employment. We are working to empower native youth and adults to create more enriched lives for themselves and their families while respecting diversity and traditional values. • Say hello to our Board Chairman, Ray Southworth, from New Hampshire! Ray has been involved with Native American Jump Start for over 20 years, Working to support the Mission of NAJS and the programs we have to offer. Ray is passionate about his work with NAJS. He understands how NAJS fills niche needs for Native American students with employment and educational opportunities, where sometimes, the additional financial help makes a huge difference in the success of the student or employee.  NAJS's assistance has made a significant impact on so many young native people by helping them be successful in their education or employment opportunities. One of his achievements with NAJS is working with the local NH Chamber of Commerce and regional employers to bring 20 young people from Pine Ridge to work in seasonal jobs at the beach.  We coordinated housing, food, employment, and training over the past two summers.  This effort provided job skills training and employment opportunities that would benefit tribal members and their families.  "It has been a source of great pride to be associated with the organization and to see the positive impact we have had on so many lives." -Ray Southworth. Thank you, Ray, for your hard work and dedication!
