Our professional speakers love sharing their passion at all types of events! Bobby Hulme-Lippert just shared at the Hutto Chamber of Commerce Luncheon how self-leadership impacts positive impact around you! #NSAAustin #NsaSpeaker #ProfessionalSpeaker #BusinessLeader #ThoughtLeader
Leadership Coach @ BHL Coaching I Coaching Executives and Entrepreneurs to Lead from Their True Selves I Speaker, Essayist, Podcast Host and Storyteller
Had a great time speaking at the Hutto Chamber of Commerce's monthly luncheon today - what a great group and great energy! We talked about how effective self-leadership is a game-changer when it comes to burnout, stress, and employee engagement and productivity. More, when leaders practice self-leadership, it has a positive and generative impact on those around them. Specifically, we explored the importance of... 1. Leading from your Strengths (and how individuals and teams can effectively discern how to do that) 2. Reframing every Challenge as a Gift (and a 2-step process for doing that effectively) 3. Practicing Effective, Regular Recognition (and specific ways that gratitude, in particular, can transform leaders and teams) After the event, numerous attendees shared specific stories about how relevant the content was to their leadership, their team, and their organizational story. Which made it clear once more: no matter what the unique challenges are before us, the same leadership fundamentals remain consistent. And three of those are listed above. But... what other ones would add? Are there certain leadership traits, characteristics, or exercises that have proven especially important when it comes to having strong employee engagement and consistent growth? #leadership #strengths #perspective #gratitude #employeeengagement #burnout #stress #vitality

National Speakers Association Austin, TX professional speaker, Steven English, PCC, is helping corporations build a Culture of Leadership to positively impact the workforce. #NSAAustin #NsaSpeaker #ProfessionalSpeaker #BusinessLeader #ThoughtLeader
Many companies haven't given the time and attention to building a Culture of Leadership. They stay in the old leadership styles of commanding and pace setting. They don't offer development opportunities for their team. They don't measure the effectiveness of the leadership. This is costing them $$$$$$ Lower employee engagement (lower productivity, more mistakes, absenteeism, morale impacts) and turnover cost more than you can imagine. I recently spoke on this topic at an association meeting, it was a blast. So much gratitude to SMACNA particularly Joye Blanscett and Aaron Hilger. They get it - that employee engagement is 100% tied to having a Culture of Leadership. Does your company? What do you think is the biggest cause of low employee engagement?
