Are segregation, income #inequality, and poverty associated with vision problems and blindness? Yes, according to researchers at the University of Michigan and NORC at the University of Chicago. Using data from 2010 U.S. census tracts and the 2012–2016 American Community Survey, they found that structural #inequity may be associated with poor vision outcomes in under-resourced areas. Could immunotherapy be used to treat #DiabeticRetinopathy?
