The July/August 2024 Journal of Environmental Health is out! You can now access the entire issue on our website. Effective and consistent training approaches are necessary for capacity building. The retail food regulatory workforce, however, can lack standardized training, promotion, and retention practices. This month’s cover article analyzed data from a training needs assessment to better understand workforce training needs overall and by job level. By plotting the relevance of and exposure to validated retail food safety knowledge areas, the article shows the knowledge areas that need priority focus for training. neha.org/july-aug-2024
