THE NATIONAL BLACK JUSTICE COALITION (NBJC) is a civil rights organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and same gender loving (LGBTQ/SGL) people, including people living with HIV/AIDS. Florida fascist affirm white supremacy via anti-Black “Black History Standards”. The “standards”: https://lnkd.in/giNTM48a Standards include teaching about the violence perpetuated by and against African Americans and suggests enslavement provided us with useful skills. 🙅🏾♂️ Fascist thrive on confusion and chaos. Their political ideology is rooted in rigid, identity based hierarchies (read: white supremacy patriarchy anti-LGBTQ xenophobia). Fascist believe in “purifying” society of the people and beliefs that undermine their myths of a “master race”. Their goal is to destroy those of us who don’t conform or capitulate. Fascism can be defeated. It requires all of us. What are WE going to do to defend democracy and get closer to freedom? Not asking for a friend.
