Today, NAMI led over 40 national organizations in urging immediate action from the FCC and HHS to improve the routing of 988 calls, ensuring individuals in mental health crises are connected to critical local care. With broad stakeholder support for improving how 988 calls are routed to call centers, NAMI emphasizes the urgency of action to provide timely access to vital crisis resources to save lives.
