One of the critical services MusiCares Foundation offers is free, inclusive, virtual resources and opportunities to connect with others in the music community who uniquely understand your wellness concerns. Goodfellaz is a virtual, safe communal space for Black men working in music to connect, vent, and heal. Join Gary Taylor, LCSW, on July 30th for a specially curated virtual session about mental health. This group will discuss how mental health is health, how the two correlate and impact one another, and what strategies men can use to take care of their own mental health. This Goodfellaz session is open to Black men with 5-years employment in music or credit on 6 commercially released recordings. Space is limited, and RSVP is required to confirm your spot. MusiCares Foundation + Amazon Music Live on the Lawn: a free, outdoor concert & series celebrating the music community. 🎶✨ It is for the love of music that we work tirelessly behind the scenes to support the health and well-being of the music community. This summer, we’re taking time to celebrate the joy of music in a laid-back lawn concert setting at the historic Culver Studios. Starting Friday, July 19th, we're bringing together our dynamic community of music makers, supporters and partners for a summer of showcases with performances by incredible artists. MusiCares Health & Human Services experts will be on site providing activations and information about MusiCares’ services for music professionals. This Friday’s Live on the Lawn is an invite-only event, but stay tuned on MusiCares Foundation socials for an inside look at the event and opportunities to attend Live on the Lawn in the coming months!

Our incredible H3 Artist Advocates, Rico Love & French Montana, sat down with MusiCares Foundation to discuss the importance of our Humans of Hip Hop initiative and MusiCares’ critical support for the hip hop community. We’re proud of the impactful first year of H3, launching in key cities and providing resources tailored to the needs of the hip hop community nationwide. Over the three-year campaign, we’ll continue to empower and support hip-hop music professionals by developing MusiCares programming for the unique needs of the community. Humans of Hip Hop would not be possible without the generous support of our Supporting Partner Vivid Seats and our H3 contributor Amazon Music. ❤️ If you or someone you know in the music community needs support, reach out to MusiCares at musicaresrelief@musicares.org or by calling 800-687-4227. 💌 #BlackMusicMonth #HumansofHipHop #H3 #MusiCares #MusiCaresForUs
