Employee Spotlight! This past Sunday, canine handler Carlos Hercules Figueroa helped identify a missing person and reunited him with his family. On Sunday, July 7, a baseball stadium received a call from a concerned mother stating her 18-year-old son with autism had left the house at 2 PM and had not been seen for hours. Knowing he was a huge baseball fan and there was a game taking place, the mother called the nearby stadium to inform them of the situation. This information was shared with all security staff and vendors at the stadium. When notified of the situation, canine handler Carlos Hercules Figueroa immediately shared that he had seen the individual earlier in the day outside stadium gate 2. This information was relayed back to the stadium’s command center, where staff reviewed camera angles and identified the teen in the parking lot as the game ended. Thanks to Carlos for his attentiveness on the job, and for keeping the community safe! #Security #StadiumSecurity #CommunitySafety #BOLO

As instances of workplace violence persist, California introduced Senate Bill No. 553 (SB 553) requiring organizations to take proactive steps around incident identification and compliance. As of July 1, 2024, state employers must adopt a comprehensive Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP). Other states are exploring similar measures. Read our new blog via this link for a closer look at what this may mean for your organization: https://lnkd.in/gvsWySbK
