About us
What started with an acquisition of two Crane Service branches in Albuquerque and Bloomfield, NM in 2007 has grown to 4 companies and 7 locations across the United States. From wind, heavy lift, and industrial markets in the Rockies and Southwest, to the east coast commercial sector and beyond, ML Crane’s dedication to safety, project application knowledge, and customer service is unparalleled. Our growth and experience have taken us from what was primarily a crane rental business in our early years, to now also specializing in rigging, heavy lifting & hauling, alternative movement, and warehouse & storage services. ML Crane companies have a long and rich heritage in the regions that they serve. We take great pride in this, and always strive to honor those legacies by delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers and the communities where they operate. Our companies deliver streamlined execution so that customers large and small can rely on our nationwide reach and local support to get the job done in a safe and professional manner every time.

ML Crane Group participated at the GIRLS In Construction event at Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Over 1,000 GIRLS attended the event. We educated these young ladies about the Crane Industry, Job openings, qualifications needed, apprenticeship programs and the needs in the construction industry in general. Kacen Shaffer, our mechanic, demonstrated to the ladies how to check your oil and change a tire. We all need to do our part to attract and recruit the younger generations to work in the construction industry. According to an outlook from Associated Builders and Contractors, a trade group for the non-union construction industry, construction firms will need to attract an estimated 546,000 additional workers on top of the normal pace of hiring in 2023 to meet the demand for labor. The construction industry averaged more than 390,000 job openings per month in 2022, the highest level on record, while unemployment in the sector of 4.6% was the second lowest on record.
