Mission Bank is a proud sponsor of the Ventura County Fair Junior Livestock Auction. The event takes place Friday, August 9th and we are excited to see the hard work and determination of Ventura Co kids in action. FFA, 4-H, and other agribusiness programs for students are invaluable for our California communities and it’s our honor to help continue the legacy. Thank you Business Banker Brandon Wilks for leading the charge!

From the 2023 Annual Report: Archer Wilkinson, Commerical Real Estate Investment and Advisory Services. Patrick Archer Wilkinson isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves and get to work. An entrepreneur and businessman since he graduated college, his tenants know he’s just a phone call, or sometimes a short walk away, and can help with any issue a storefront may face in a downtown area. From quick fixes to trespassing complaints, Wilkinson knows it’s important to be available. “Business owners and property owners have seen a lot of change over the last couple of years and I’m here to take care of my people,” says Wilkinson. “I have about 270 units from mom-and-pop single tenant buildings to large shopping centers, and I’ve seen it all.” Wilkinson is well-known and well-respected, and he keeps a watchful eye on his properties from the hustle and bustle of SLO’s Higuera Street to as far south as Santa Maria and north to Paso Robles. While Wilkinson may be seen as a central coast fixture, he credits other well-known locals for helping him continue his success, professionals like Relationship Manager Austin Petty. “We like to work with people we can trust and finding a good core group is essential to making sure things happen fast,” says Wilkinson. “I know Austin and his team are going to respond quickly. Just like my tenants need me, if I have an emergency Mission Bank is going to be there.”

“When you work with a local company like Mission you receive a higher level of personalized service than you would from a larger, national bank.” - Christopher Dunn, Delta Pacific Beverage From our Annual Report 2023: Delta Pacific Beverage Company Chris Dunn was working for Lehman Brothers when The Great Recession hit in the late 2000’s. He was living in the Bay Area with his wife Kate Dunn and found himself with an opportunity that turned out to be golden. “I started importing a beer from Ireland and working out of my pickup truck,” says Dunn. “At the time there was a huge demand for distribution of craft beer, so we diversified by selling other brands, now we have over 50 employees, 18 counties, and over 60 suppliers that we distribute.” Delta Pacific Beverage Company is based out of Stockton, California and the Dunns are ready to expand. “There is so much opportunity in these trending beverage categories such as non-alcoholic and better for you drinks. We started our business in craft beer and have one of the best craft beer portfolios in California, but diversifying our portfolio provides huge growth opportunities for the many markets we sell service.” One growth opportunity that Delta Pacific recently invested in was the purchase of distribution rights for Altamont Beer Works, Inc. They worked with Mission Bank on an SBA loan to fund part of the deal. “The team at Mission Bank knew the importance of the acquisition and provided all of the documents, moving very quickly to get the loan funded,” says Dunn. “When you work with a local company like Mission you receive a higher level of personalized service than you would from a larger, national bank.”

This week CEO AJ Antongiovanni and Credit Administrator Stuart Annable spent two days with our Relationship Manager Development Program participants, sharing their knowledge of lending in commercial banking.
