This weekend we hosted the first paddle event of our 13th Annual Miracles for Kids “Surf & Paddle” Summer Camp. This free event offers our families a much-needed physical and mental respite. Participants enjoyed a day of fun in the sun and in the water, out rigging, learning to paddle board, building sand castles, playing games on the beach, and enjoying lunch delivered from The Stand. 🌊 Our 13th Annual “Surf & Paddle” Summer Camp is Kicking off this Week! 🌊 We are excited to kick off our 13th Annual “Surf & Paddle” Camp on Thursday! This summer, we are offering a series of events designed to provide a much-needed physical and mental respite for the entire family, and we would love to have you or your team of employees join us for a very rewarding day of play in the sun, on the beach and in the water with our Miracle families! The “Surf & Paddle” Summer Camp is a chance for our families to enjoy a day OFF from medical meetings & stressful days, it’s a FUN carefree day of sun, surf, and sand—all for FREE. Parents get a break from being overwhelmed by ongoing care management, with nothing on their agenda but watching their kids experience the achievement of learning something new. Siblings get a day that feels all about them too, receiving the same special treatment and attention. Child patients get to enjoy a moment of feeling like just a fun-loving kid again as spirits are lifted and they get to run wild on the beach instead of running to doctor’s appointments. Our Summer Event Schedule is as follows and we are searching for more volunteers to be in the water with our kids for July 17th and August 2nd… this is a great way for any company to offer team bonding and get outdoors too. The 27th Annual Stars & Stripes Tournament with Stars & Stripes Children's Foundation this past weekend in Los Cabos, Mexico was a HUGE success, raising $4.6M for Miracles for Kids and other amazing children’s charities. Today, we kick off an exciting and impactful partnership with The Stand Restaurants, a beloved Southern California casual dining chain that is redefining American classic foods. Corporate partners like The Stand are deeply committed to our mission at Miracles for Kids, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the partnership.  They are going above and beyond by involving all 20 of their locations in a comprehensive promotion to support us. This includes Miracles for Kids informational posters and table tents at every table, a custom-made video on their in-store TVs, branded buttons on all their employees, info hangers, and colored helium co-branded balloons, all custom-designed to drive awareness and support for the families we serve, in the neighborhoods THEY serve! 🌟 The 27th Annual Stars & Stripes Tournament Kicks Off Today! 🌟 Welcome to all our guests who have landed in Cabo for a weekend of FUN and unforgettable experiences! This hugely popular event has raised and donated more than $55 million to worthy youth-based organizations over the past 26 years. Last year alone, the event helped us raise $5.2M, and we hope to beat that this year. The Stars & Stripes Tournament brings together over 500 supporters from across the nation, including teams of donors, Miracles for Kids families who get flown out on angel flights, and our amazing volunteers. This world-class charity fundraiser is not just about fun in the Cabo sun; it’s about making a significant impact. We are proud to have been a beneficiary for 15 years, thanks to the dedicated support of the Stars & Stripes Foundation. Guests will enjoy a 🎶 Live concert by Train, ⛳ World-class golf at two of Cabo’s most prestigious courses, 🎣 An exclusive fishing tournament, 🐬 Fabulous activities like swimming with dolphins, 🎸 Nightly concerts, 🍳 Cooking classes, and more!
